PURPOSE:To improve performance for extracting feature points by executing an optimum correspondence in consideration of the arrangement relation between respective rasters on adjacent scanning lines by a dynamic planning method. CONSTITUTION:After a photoelectric transfer part 21 scans the light and dark image of an object at every picture element, and photoelectrically transfers it, various densities of each picture element are stored. A raster detection part 22 compares the various densities of the picture element on any scanning line on the stored light and dark image, binarizes them, and detects the raster of a white or black run. In consideration of the arrangement relation of each white or black run on the arbitrary scanning line and its adjacent scanning line, a raster correspondence part 23 executes an optimum correspondence according to the dynamic planning method.
