摘要 PURPOSE:A microhydrogel is dispersed in a matrix mainly consisting of liquid rubber and they are crosslinked to produce a water-holding composite suitably used as a poultice or cooling material, because of its capability of freely containing active additives, flexibility and independence from temperature and humidity. CONSTITUTION:A microhydrogel, preferably the crosslinked product of isobutylene- maleic anhydride copolymer neutralized with an alkali is made to absorb water, is dispersed in a matrix of liquid rubber, preferbly mainly consisting of liquid polydiene rubber produced by the anion polymerization, and the dispersion is crosslinked. Or the microhydrogel containing water in an amount of 10-1,000 times the self-weight is dispersed in the liquid rubber containing the crosslinking agent so that the water content in the liquid rubber becomes 10-80wt% and they are crosslinked. Thus, the objective composite is very readily produced at a relatively low temperature with a usual stirrer. An active ingredient of poultice is included in the matrix component to produce a poultice or the composite is directly used as a base material for cooling material.
