PURPOSE:To efficiently support software development, by providing a terminal emulate board having the same terminal function as a target microprocessor has to a personal computer. CONSTITUTION:The I/O access to the memory of a target microprocessor is made by storing data in the terminal register 222 of a terminal emulate board 220 corresponding to the terminal group of the target microprocessor in the case of output. In such case, exchange from the internal bus 210 of a personal computer 230 to a system bus 200 is performed through a bus exchanger 221 and the content of the register 222 is outputted through the bus 200. In the case of input, on the other hand, data of the bus 200 are stored in the register 222 through the exchanger 221 by actuating a bus cycle and necessary part of the register 222 is read out. In such way, an instruction code is fetched, decoded, and the instruction is executed so as to emulate the target micro device in the same way as that to the target microprocessor. |
