PURPOSE:To improve determination accuracy by closing the end of a chromato- tube with a filter for preventing outflow of a packing material and forming the filter in such a manner that the filter can be pressed by a rigid body seat opened to a funnel shape. CONSTITUTION:The chromato-tube 1 is sandwiched at both ends thereof by connectors 8 for connecting liquid feed pipes 9 and is pressed by screw mechanisms between the connectors 8 and a column holder 7. The end of the chromato-tube 1 is pressed to the bottom of the connecting part 15 of an end seal 2 and sufficient sealing is attained between both if the seal 2 is an elastic material. The step in the aperture 14 of the seal 2 is formed slightly taller than the sum of the thicknesses of the filter 3 and the rigid body seat 5 opened to the funnel shape, by which the end of the pipe 1 can be pressed until the end substantially contacts the filter 3. The connector 8 and the seal 2 are pressed at the boundary face thereof to constitute the perfect seal. A pedestal 5 is a rigid body and has the strength to prevent the deformation thereof. The determination accuracy is, therefore, improved.
