PURPOSE:To prevent a hollow seal lip from being excessively deformed and also from projecting upward by projecting a stopper out of the outer wall surface of a welt, concurrently projecting a projection out of the inner wall surface of a hollow seal lip, and thereby abutting the projection against the stopper as required. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip 5 for a sun roof is interposed between a car body side panel 1 and a lid 3 for a sun roof, and is made up out of a welt 5a roughly in a U-shape in cross section and of a hollow seal lip 5b which is fixed attached to a wall surface on the side of the car body side panel 1. In this case, a stopper 10 of a specified length which is of suitable harness, is projected out of the wall surface of the welt 5a on the side of the car body side panel 1 toward the car body side panel 1. In addition, a projection 11 is monolithically projected out of the inner wall surface of the hollow seal lip 5b while being directed to the welt 5a and toward the lower side of the stopper 10 at the same time. This thereby allows the projection 11 to abut against the stopper 10, thereby preventing the hollow seal slip 5b from being excessively deformed. |
