PURPOSE:To uniformize temperature distribution on the whole of the mirror surface of a mold, by a method wherein a temperature regulating means, having a surface substantially parallel to the flat surface of a molding cavity, is provided and heat medium for heating or cooling is supplied to the temperature regulating means. CONSTITUTION:An injection molding tool is constituted of an annular heat transfer member 19, whose boundary surface 19A between a fixed mold 12 and a movable mold 14 is formed substantially in parallel to the flat surfaces or mirror surfaces 15, 16 of a molding cavity 30, and a plurality of heat medium flow passages 20, formed on the heat transfer member 19 at positions apart from the molding cavity 30 so as to have the shape of grooves. Molten resin is supplied from an injection cylinder 24 into a sprue 22 to inject the molten resin into the molding cavity 30 from a gate 23 and fill the cavity 30 with the resin. Thereafter, cooling heat medium is passed through a heat medium flow passage 20 to cool the resin. The boundary surface 19A between the heat transfer member 19 and both molds 12, 14 and the flat surface or the mirror surfaces 15, 16 of the molding cavity 30 are parallel substantially with each other and a distance N between the boundary surface 19A and the flat surface is equal throughout tho whole surface of the mirror surfaces, therefore, a temperature distribution on the mirror surfaces 15, 16 may be uniformized throughout the whole surfaces thereof. |
