<p>PURPOSE:To automatically dispose a large quantity of refuse by locating a container, e.g. refuse bags, having a charge port formed in an upper part and a refuse compressing means located below a refuse box, through a communicating passage, in a rolling stock. CONSTITUTION:A bottom plate 6 of a refuse box 5 is closed, and refuse is charged in the refuse box 5 in a state that a compression plate 29 is moved backward to a position A. When a given amount of refuse is stored in the refuse box 5, a cylinder 8 for opening and closing is operated through operation of an infrared ray sensor to open the bottom plate 6. The refuse is dropped through a communicating passage 10 in a first refuse bag 18 (V2). The bottom plate 6 is closed to prepare for next charge. Meanwhile, the compression plate 29 is moved forward to a position above the opening of the refuse bag 18V2 through operation of a cylinder 31 for moving the compression plate and lowered by means of an elevating cylinder 25 to compress refuse in the bag 18V2. After compression, the compression plate 29 is restored to its original position, and next refuse is disposed.</p> |
