PURPOSE:To minimize the fading, reduction in luster, and corrosion of a coated steel sheet by subjecting a material prepared by galvanizing a stainless steel to coloring treatment by means of chemical conversion treatment and providing a specific color tone. CONSTITUTION:A material prepared by galvanizing a stainless steel is subjected to coloring treatment by means of chemical conversion treatment, by which a chemical conversion treated galvanizing layer having a color tone in which chromaticness index is regulated to 45-52 by L-value, 0.0-0.4 by a-value, and 1.3-4.4 by b-value is formed. Ferritic stainless steel is used as the above stainless steel. The coating weight of zinc is regulated to >=200g/m<2> per side. Phosphating is used as the coloring means, and the coating weight of a phosphate film is regulated to 4.0-5.0g/m<2>. By this method, satisfactory strength as material for roof and use can be provided, and this material is applicable even to use for long size roof, etc. |
