PURPOSE:To obtain an ideal wing light distribution curve and selectively use direct and diffused lighting via whole room area lighting and the selection of lighting by providing a reflection surface part in a lengthwise direction within a mounting frame and a plurality of steps of light sources vertically within the reflection surface. CONSTITUTION:A reflecting mirror 6 is provided in a lengthwise direction within a mounting frame 4 and fluorescent lamps 8-1 ana 8-2 are arranged at upper and lower tiers. When both lamps 8-1 and 8-2 are turned on, a wing light distribution curve is obtained due to direct and diffused lighting, thereby illuminating the whole area of a room. When only the fluorescent lamp 8-1 is turned on, the quantity of a vertical light beam (shown with a dashed line) is increased, thereby enabling direct lighting. When only the fluorescent lamp 8-2 is used for lighting, the quantity of diffused light beam (shown with two-dot chain line) is increased, thereby enabling diffused lighting. A desired lighting condition, therefore, can be selected and the aesthetic effect of lighting can be enhanced. When the fluorescent lamp 8-1 has different color from the lamp 8-2, a good mixed color effect becomes available. |
