PURPOSE:To improve the impact resistance and low-temperature resistance by graft-copolymerizing a polymer of a specific organosilicon compound with a monomer containing fluoride. CONSTITUTION:At least one organosilicon compound selected from the group consisting of one of formulae I-V [wherein R<1> is H or a 1-3C alkyl; R<2> is a divalent organic group; R<3-5> are each a 1-20C monovalent hydrocarbon group, 1-3C alkoxy, or a group of formula VI (wherein R<6> is a 1-20C monovalent hydrocarbon group; n is 0-100; and R<7> is R<6> or a group of formula VII); and A is a group of formula VIII] is polymerized in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator at 30-100 deg.C for 0.5-20hr to produce a polymer. 1-50wt.% resulting polymer are graft-copolymerized with 99-50wt.% monomer mixture comporising 50wt.% or more vinylidene fluoride and a monomer copolymerizable therewith (e.g., tetrafluoroethylene) in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator (e.g., diisopropylperoxy carbonate) at 20-100 deg.C for 1-50hr. |
