PURPOSE:To prevent the properties of products from being scattered and to prevent the products from occurrence of defects by a method in which a plurality of woven fabrics made of reinforcing fiber and resin fiber are superimposed and pressed under heating, thereby melting the resin fiber. CONSTITUTION:Woven fabric 4 is made by using the fiber 2 with high strength and modulus (e.g. carbon fiber and glass fiber etc.) and the fiber 3 composed of the thermoplastic resin with heat resistance (e.g. nylon etc.). The woven fabric 4 is made in flat-weaving by using the material in which e.g. the fiber 2 is mixed with the fiber 3 as wepts (1', 2', 3'...) and warps (1, 2, 3...) respectively. A plurality of the woven fabrics 4 are superimposed and are press-formed under heating, thereby forming a plate body 5. In the plate body 5, only the fiber 3 is melted by press under heating and becomes matrix, and only the reinforcing fiber 2 remains. Heating temperature is set at the degree wherein the thermoplastic resin is melted, and the pressure of the press is set at about some tens - some hundreds kgs/cm<2>. A valve body 1 is formed by punching or laser working the plate body 5. |
