Bedside cabinet for hospitals - made with specified plastic protection fit for hot disinfection

A bedside cabinet (10) for hospital wards runs on four casters (11) and has in addition to the table top (13) a height-adjustable bedside top (12) with a swivel adjustment (15). The plates for both tops have a core (18) of low cost carrier materials (chipboard or hard fibreboard), covered by a 0.8 mm thick layer of phenolic resin with melamine lining. A rim (14, 21-24) which overlaps this layer on the edges is made of two-component PU resin. ADVANTAGE - This makes the bedside cabinet fit for hot disinfection at over 100 deg C in a washing tunnel.
