PURPOSE: To obtain a remote control never module used in a wire drive vehicle controller by providing a magnet means, which is fixed to a lever shaft and gives a mobile magnetic field of variable intensity, and a magnetic field sensor which shows the angular position of the shaft. CONSTITUTION: A remote control lever module 10 is provided with a pair of magnet means 28, which are fixed to a shaft 20 and are moved together, to give the mobile magnetic field of variable intensity to an effective area adjacent to one side of the shaft 20. In this effective area of the magnetic field, a magnetic field sensor 30 is fixed to a supporting body 14 adjacently to the shaft 20 to sense the change of the intensity or the magnetic field in various positions of the shaft 20. A readable output signal which indicates the angular position of the shaft 20 in proportion to the change of the intensity of the magnetic field is given. The module 10 has a pedal force switch 32 which can be engaged with the shaft 20; and when an operation arm 22 pushes the shaft 20 to an off idle position, the shaft 20 is engaged with the switch 32 to close the switch. A danger of the increase of the engine output is prevented unless the driver steps on a pedal 24. |
