<p>A controlling device 4 mounted e.g. in a vehicle body 1 has switches 4a, 4b. A positive/negative switching device 6 mounted in the vehicle body 1 is electrically connected to the vehicle battery 5 and the controlling device 4. The switching device 6 has first and second output terminals. The switching device assumes, when the first switch 4a of the controlling device is ON, a first condition wherein the first and second output terminals are positive and negative respectively, and assumes, when the second switch 4b is ON, a second condition wherein the first and second output terminals are negative and positive respectively. Electric devices X1, X2 such as a door lock, door closer or window regulator are mounted in the vehicle door 2 and have first and second input terminals. Diodes 7,8 ensure that the first electric device X1 is energized only when its first and second input terminals are charged positive and negative respectively, and the second electric device X2 is energized only when its first and second input terminals are charged negative and positive respectively. Such an arrangement allows two devices X1, X2 to be supplied by only two wires 3a, 3b. Details of closing and locking mechanisms for sliding and pivotting doors are described, as are circuits for closing/opening and locking/unlocking the doors. <IMAGE></p> |
