PURPOSE:To sent out polished rice which does not hardly contain bran and has high purity by providing a bran removing means for removing bran stuck on the side face of an inner cylinder and/or a bran collecting means for collecting bran to the inside of a main body. CONSTITUTION:An external cylinder 60 is equipped with a delivery port 57 to the upper part and with an introduction port 63 to the lower part and rotated around the axial center X-X in the vertical direction. Further an annular rice polishing chamber R2 wherein the space of a gap is changed is formed around a stationary inner cylinder 70. Moreover a plurality of slits 71 perforating the cylindrical part are provided and a separation chamber R3 for separating bran 15 is constituted to the inside of the inner cylinder 70. Furthermore an external case 20 is provided to the outside of the external cylinder 60 and a housing chamber R1 for holding rice is provided. A regulating plate 46 made of the spring material is provided wherein rice is introduced from an introduction port 63 while regulating the transferring direction of rice held in the housing chamber R1 and this rice is carried into a rice polishing chamber R2. A bran removing means 80 and/or a bran collecting means described hereunder are provided into a main body 10. The bran removing means 80 removes bran 15 stuck on the side face of the inner cylinder 60. A wire 83 and a brush 84, etc., are utilized for the means 80. A blower for suction and a bran collecting bag, etc., are utilized for the bran collecting means. |
