<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a transfer defect occurring by providing a protrusive part to be protruded to a downstream side in a direction of carrier path between a transfer means and an image carrier, and surely supporting the rear terminal part of a member to be transferred being carried on the carrier path between the transfer means and the image carrier. CONSTITUTION:Plural projections 9 as the protrusive parts are provided in a direction perpendicular to the direction of carrier path between a photosensitive drum 13 and a transfer charger 19. In other words, for example, five projections 9 are provided with prescribed space along the inner wall of the transfer charger 19 that is the downstream side than a guide plate 10 comprising a carrier means. When an image on the image carrier 13 is transferred on the member P to be transferred by the transfer means 19, the rear terminal part of the member P to be transferred is supported with the protrusive part 9 protruded to the downstream side of the carrier means 10, and no separation of the rear terminal part of the member P to be transferred from the image carrier 13 occurs. In such a way;, transfer can be performed satisfactorily without generating the transfer defect at the rear terminal part.</p> |
