PURPOSE:To improve productivity of a heat-resistant insulated cable by applying and baking an insulating paint of polyamideimide resin mixed with a proper amount of a specific stabilized isocyanate to the conductor it after applying a heat-resistant insulating paint to the conductor. CONSTITUTION:After a heat-resistant insulating paint is applied and baked to a conductor an insulating paint to obtained by adding 75-400 pts.wt. of stabilized polyisocyanate compound prepared from diphenylmethane diisocyanate 100 pts.wt. of polyamideimide resin is applied and baked to the conductor. The polyamideimide resin has amide-bonds and imide-bonds in the molecule. The heat-resistant insulating paint is one which has heat resistance index at 180 deg.C or more calculated by extrapolation to 20000 hours according to a heat resistance service life measuring method defined by IEC-172 after it is applied and baked to a conductor, and used for an insulated electric cable. Consequently, an insulated cable is produced at the same productivity as that of a conventional polyurethane-insulating cable, and the obtained cable has high heat resistance which is much improved as compared with that of a polyurethane insulated cable. |
