CONSTITUTION:SAKE lees prepared as a by-product in a production process of refined SAKE is blended with 3-10 times as much water as the SAKE lees by weight, stirred to prepare slurry, alcohol in SAKE lees is eluted with water, for example, allowed to stand, separated into two layers, an aqueous solution of alcohol is obtained from the upper layer and lees from which alcohol is removed is collected from the lower layer to carry out the objective treatment. The aqueous solution of alcohol is made into a desired concentration by using a concentrating filter, etc., is utilized as an alcohol drink, etc., the lees after removal of alcohol is directly dried as it is or treated with an amylase enzyme and dried and used as a feed for domestic animal or a raw material for processing food.
