PURPOSE:To integrate cutting and weighing by carrying SMC pieces cut at a cutting section by means of a conveyor and installing a weighing machine with a driving conveyor for effecting automatic weighing and a weighing device having a sensing section for confirming the SMC pieces having passed between the carrier conveyor and the weighing machine with the driving conveyor. CONSTITUTION:SMC 1 cut at a cutting section 5 is transferred onto a driving conveyor 8 integrated with a weighing machine 9 by means of a carrier conveyor 7. Then, weighing by the weighing machine 9 is started at the time when the head of the SMC piece 11 passes right under a sensing section 10, and the movement of driving conveyor 8 is stopped at the time when the end of said SMC piece 11 passes right under the sensing section 10. When said movement is stopped and the weighing machine 9 is stabilized after several minutes, the indicated weight is read, and read weights are added one after another. After that, the load of the weighing machine 9 is freed to readily receive the following SMC piece to be carried on. |
