PURPOSE:To automatically move a control point of a tertiary B-spline curve with a high-quality. CONSTITUTION:An allowable range of a moving distance in the (x) and (y) directions of an endpoint of a tertiary B-spline curve and a control point (adjacent point) being adjacent to the endpoint are set. Subsequently, a distance of the (x) direction or the (y) direction between the endpoint and the adjacent point is derived, and when a smaller distance of both the distances is within an allowable range, its distance is set as a moving amount of its adjacent point. Next, by using the moving amount, the adjacent point is moved in the (x) direction and the (y) direction so as to minimize a shape variation of the curve, and allowed to coincide with the (x) coordinate or the (y) coordinate of the endpoint. |
