PURPOSE:To improve the operability of the user by setting the test mode at a transmitter side, applying a weak lighting state, allowing a receiver to discriminate the signal, discriminating the normal reception in the case of the test mode transmission and informing it. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter 100 sends the test mode set by a test mode setting means in a setting section 101 as a test pattern whose light emission quantity is suppressed by a light emission suppression means comprising a microcomputer 104 and a light emission circuit 102. A receiver 200 receives the pattern and a test mode identification means 200a identifies whether or not the pattern represents the test mode, and further a discrimination means 200b discriminates the normal reception and a reception confirmation means 200c outputs the normal state when the signal is normally received. Through the constitution above, since the user confirms the reception enable state with a margin prior to various remote control, the operability is considerably improved. |
