Pixel signals processing method in a semi-conductor camera and semi-conductor camera for carrying out the method

The method involves replacing the analogue signal belonging to each pixel by the minimum value of the signals received by that pixel and its neighbours in the same scene or one very close to it. The neighbouring pixels are chosen either from the same row or from the same column. Alternatively, the selected pixels may be those of the same rank in different pictures of the same scene, obtained e.g. in temporal sequence from the same sensor. The images are digitised and deviant points extracted from each row and column of the original image.
