Local passenger transport system with track-borne wheeled vehicles

The system comprises a concrete pathway (1) with tracks for wheeled vehicles stations, a calling system (3) for cabins kept ready with devices for personal transport which function through an individual drive with wheels (9) guided in the rails. An automatic unit controls the drive and further cabin functions depending on signals from an integrated safety device and from the calling system. The concrete pathway is a plate that is flat on the top with projections at the sides for horizontal and vertical guide rails for the wheels. It is made from prefabricated components and is laid directly on sand base.
