The pump (10) has a rotor (16) which is accommodated in a housing (12), whose walls have at least one groove (28) for a barrier vane (30). The barrier vane is pressed by a spring (32) against the perimeter of the rotor, which has control surfaces (22) which are separated from one another by dividing regions (24). The space in front of the vane in the direction of rotation is connected to a pressurised outlet (42), while the space after the vane is connected to a suction inlet (44). The suction inlet has a throttle point (61) and the pressurised outlet is associated with closing or opening equipment which is dependent on the pressure, and which may be a one-way valve.
