CONTENT RETRIEVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable full-text retrieval of contents without purchasing a deciphering key by making an information providing server retrieve the identifier of contents meeting retrieval conditions and answer the result to a deciphered content management device. SOLUTION: The information providing server 100 gives an identifier to contents inputted through a content input part 102 by a content management part 104 and stores them in a file storage part 106. A content deciphering part 108 deciphers the contents, and a deciphered content transmission part 115 adds an identifier to the deciphered contents and sends them to a user. A retrieval part 122 having received the retrieval conditions through a retrieval request reception part 120 searches contents of plaintexts for contents meeting the retrieval conditions. Its identifier is sent back to the deciphered content management device through a retrieval result transmission part 124. The deciphered content management device shows the retrieval result to the user.
