<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to develop microcomputer without considering differences in characteristics of a CPU and a peripheral circuit with the same wafer process and a chip layout as a flash memory version and a one time program ROM (OTP) version. SOLUTION: This device is constituted in a way in which a flash memory control circuit 7 or an OTP control circuit 8 is made effective by a flash memory/OTP changeover control circuit 2 by setting a bit b0 value of a flash memory/OTP changeover control register 10 to '0' or '1' and it makes it possible to select and use a flash memory cell 9 as a flash memory or an OTP and to develop microcomputers of flash memory version and an OTP version as the same chip.</p> |
