An insulating epoxy resin is produced by adding 140 wt.parts of filler and 72 wt.parts of hardening agent to 100 wt.parts of epoxy resin. The filler is Al(OH)3, Sb2O3, CaCO3 and Br2 powder. The epoxy resin has a good fire-retardancy and insulating property, and is used for a fly back transformer of television receivers and monitors.
