To prevent a phenomenon of dragging on an auxiliary bearing 4 which tends to occur in the vicinity of a resonance point of rigid mode on starting of a three axes control magnetic bearing apparatus, a radial direction attracting electromagnet 20 has a magnetic pole disposed across a small gap from one radial direction end of a metal disc 2. To release drag, a short period voltage is impressed divided over a plurality of times on the radial direction attracting electromagnet 20 in the vicinity of the resonance point of rigid mode on starting so that the metal disc 2 is attracted. <IMAGE>
