PURPOSE: A method for searching an electronic program guide using a calendar format is provided for searching an electronic program guide information by displaying a calendar on a TV or other devices. CONSTITUTION: A timer unit(1) manages a current date and time. A calendar unit(2) generates and manages a calendar using an information output from the timer unit(1). A graphic controller(3) displays the calendar generated by the calendar unit(2) on a screen. An input unit(4) inputs a data into the graphic controller(3) by a user. An electronic program guide unit(5) displays an electronic program guide information at a desired data through the graphic controller(3). The graphic controller(3) displays the calendar of January on the current window by a duplication method.
