PURPOSE: A method is provided to equalize the width directional alloy variation of an alloyed steel sheet by compensating the temperature of non-alloyed portions. CONSTITUTION: An edge burner(40) is installed in the lower of an alloying furnace(23). The edge burner supplies coke oven gas and air to heat a steel sheet. A coke oven gas supplying nozzle(41) and an air discharge nozzle(42) is placed in the edge burner and the nozzles are specially in a stainless box(43) for the minimization of outer air effect. The edge burner is moved in a width direction by a motor(44) and a moving member(45) to heat a steel sheet. Fuel and air are controlled by supply manometers(46,47) and auto valves(48,49) for adjusting a heating temperature.
