PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a method for inexpensively achieving, with a simple circuit configuration, the communication system of an air conditioner for achieving system configurations for meeting the diversified request of users. SOLUTION: In this communication control system of an air conditioner that consists of a plurality of indoor machines and outdoor machines while each indoor machine is connected to control equipment including a remote controller by a communication line, and data is communicated via the communication line, each indoor machine has a communication control device having a power supply circuit 59 where a power supply voltage is supplied from a main power supply, a communication superposition circuit 55 for superposing the power supply voltage and communication data, a transistor 54 for turning on or off the supply of the power supply voltage the main power supply to the communication superposition circuit, and a polarity coincidence circuit 63A that receiving the output of the communication superposition circuit for outputting onto the communication line, and at the same time makes the power supply voltage from the outside non-polarized. When the indoor machine that supplies power cannot supply power, another indoor machine is automatically selected as a power supply source, thus supplying power intermittently. |
