发明名称 PRODUCTION OF RADIATOR FIN MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To produce a radiator fin material improved in working precision by providing a coating layer of zinc material to the surface of a base material composed of copper alloy, exerting diffusion treatment by heating, performing rolling, and then softening the surface diffusion layer by means of specific heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:A coating layer of zinc or zinc alloy is provided to the surface of a copper alloy to be a base material and diffusion treatment by heating is applied to the above, by which a diffusion layer of Cu-Zn alloy is formed on the surface of the copper alloy to be a base material. Subsequently, rolling is exerted so that the plate thickness of the final product is reached and then heat treatment is carried out at and for a temp. and a time causing no recrystallization to the base material composed of copper alloy, by which the work-hardened surface diffusion layer is softened and the difference in hardness between the base material in the inner part and this layer is remarkably reduced. By this method, the corrosion resisting radiator fin material remarkably improved in slitting characteristic, corrogating characteristic, etc., in the final plate thickness can be obtained.
