PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clean wheelchair capable of avoiding bacteria or stains adhesion to the operator's hands, skins or clothes. SOLUTION: Shafts (2) of the wheelchair (1) are provided with cover members (3) which constitute a main part of returning mechanism of this invention. Lower parts of the cover members serve as pendulum weights (4), and the upper parts are tunnel shaped covers (6) constructed in a manner that they cover astride the wheels (7).
