<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving operation auxiliary device for a vehicle capable of establishing longitudinal and lateral reaction force control by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: This driving operation auxiliary device for a vehicle is provided with obstacle detection means 10 and 20 for detecting obstacles on two obstacle detection directions to its own vehicle, an excess time calculation means 50 for calculating an excess time until the two obstacles are brought into contact with its own vehicle based on the detection results of the obstacle detection means 10 and 20, lateral operational reaction force control means 50 and 60 for controlling the operational reaction force of a vehicle operating unit associated with the lateral driving operation of its own vehicle based on the first excess time which is smaller of the excess time calculated by the excess time calculation means 50 and longitudinal operational reaction force control means 50, 80 and 90 for controlling the operational reaction of the vehicle operating unit associated with the longitudinal driving operation of its own vehicle based on the second excess time which is larger of the excess time calculated by the excess time calculation means 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
