<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition that is useful as a recording layer for a negative lithographic printing original plate having excellent sensitivity, plate wear resistance and developing properties. <P>SOLUTION: The polymerizable composition comprises (A) a polyurethane resin that bears a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond on the side chain and is soluble or swollen in water or an alkaline aqueous solution and (B) a radical initiator where the polyurethane resin is obtained by allowing an epoxy compound bearing a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond to be added to the polyurethane resin bearing carboxy groups. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
