<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for connecting a lamp to a flat cable, having high reliability of connection, and requiring no removal of the insulating coating of the flat cable. <P>SOLUTION: A connecting tool 14 provided with a connector 22 having sticking pieces 32 formed on both sides of a connector plate part, a plate 24 having a slot 34 formed for the tip part of the sticking piece 32 to be pressed-in, a housing 26 having a recessed part 36 formed on its upper surface is used. The plate 24 is installed on the bottom of the recessed part 36 of the housing. The lead part 16 of a lamp 10 and a flat cable 12 are introduced into the recessed part 36 of the housing, they are overlapped so that the flat conductor 18 of the flat cable 12 is positioned on the slot 34 of the plate 24, and the lead part 16 is positioned at the center part in the width direction of the flat conductor 18, the connector 22 is made to straddle the lead part 16, the sticking piece 32 of the connector 22 is stuck into the flat conductor 18 of the flat cable on both sides of the lead part 16 to pass it through the conductor, and the through part is pressed-in the slot 34 of the plate 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
