<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce real-time data without being affected by delay of subsequent data even when a part of real-time data is delayed. <P>SOLUTION: A real-time streaming transmission apparatus 1 comprises: a buffer 2 which stores real-time data inputted to a real-time data input part 23; a control information receiving part 21 which receives and sets control information 14 from a receiving device 3; an in-buffer data control part 22 which monitors the buffer 2 on the basis of the control information 14; and a real-time data output part 24 which reads out the real-time data stored in the buffer 2 and outputs the real-time data. When the data within the buffer 2 exceeds a limit because of a network state, on the basis of the limit of the control information 14 designated and set from the receiving device 3, the in-buffer data control part 22 discriminates invalid real-time data and discards them before outputting by the real-time data output part 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
