<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device capable of detecting the motor current value with higher accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The control device 1 outputs a PWM control signal Sp to on-off control a drive transistor 5 to adjust the current amount of the drive current Im to be supplied to a motor 2, and controls the motor 2, namely protects the motor from an excess current based on the motor current value for carrying out sample-and-hold of the motor current Sm to be supplied to the motor 2.
