PURPOSE:To correct a program which is during execution by providing an input means for the program correction information, an analyzing means, a file storing program correcting means, an executing environment input means, a correction information production means, and a correction control means. CONSTITUTION:When the program correction information is inputted via an input means 11, the analyzing means 12 analyzes and checks the propriety of the information to correct the relevant program 22 of a file 21. Simultaneously, an executing environment input means 14 acquires the position of a memory, the executing state, etc., out of the executing environment information 23 based on the analyzed/checked information. A correction information production means 15 delivers the correction information on an under-execution program to a correction control means 16 based on the received correction information. A temporary stopping means 17 stops temporarily the present program operation at a time point when no adverse influence is imparted with the requirement of the means 16 and requires a correction means 19 to temporarily stop the program operation. Then the requirement is imparted to a restarting means 18 to execute again the program 22. Thus, the correction effect is instantaneously secured and advantageous.
