PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer or the like for more quickly restoring a system when a critical error occurs in the computer.

SOLUTION: The computer 10 is constituted of a BIOSROM 120 in which a BIOS program 121 is stored, an updating part 114 for updating a kernel crush judging module 122 in order to execute a restoration processing module 126 instead of a blue screen display module 124 before starting an OS 142 and a control part 116 for executing a restoration processing module 126 when it is judged that the kernel crush has occurred after starting the OS 142.
