<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve manufacturing efficiency of a gas sensor element by suppressing a shape failure at the cutting time when manufacturing a plurality of gas sensor elements from one nonbaking laminate sheet. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method has a manufacturing process for manufacturing a nonbaking laminate sheet 1 having a continuous part 3 where a plurality of lengthy nonbaking gas sensor element parts 2 are formed continuously in the short side direction by laminating a plurality of nonbaking ceramic sheet layers 12, 25, 26, 38 including a nonbaking solid electrolyte sheet layer 26 in at least one layer and a plurality of nonbaking paste layers 13, 23, 24, 27, 28, 41, a cutting process for forming a plurality of nonbaking gas sensor element pieces by cussing successively from one end 6 in the continuous direction toward the other end 5, and a calcination process for forming the gas sensor element by baking the gas sensor element pieces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
