发明名称 CHARGER FOR MAGNETIC LEVITATION CARRIER
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To sustain magnetic levitation even during charging operation by connecting two electric contacts, arranged in a carrier station, with a battery charging connector arranged on the outer face of a magnetic levitation carrier and a connector connected with a levitation magnet. CONSTITUTION:When a carrier is running, a relay 25 is demagnetized to open contacts 28a-28d and to close contact 26, 27. Consequently, batteries 12, 13 are connected in series and the voltage across the batteries is fed through a connector 24 to a levitation magnet thus energizing the levitation magnet. When the carrier stops at a station, an arm is extended to bring contacts 17, 18 into contact with connectors 14, 15. At first, a switch 20 is turned ON to connect a power supply 22 with the connector 15 thus energizing the magnet through the output connector 24. Upon subsequent turn ON of a switch 19 to connect a charger 21, the relay 25 is energized to open the contacts 26, 27 and to close the contacts 28a-28d thus connecting the batteries 12, 13 in parallel and subjecting to charging operation 21. consequently, the carrier is sustained in levitating state even when it is not running and an object to be carried is protected against damage due to lifting/lowering of the carrier.</p>
