A method and a device for restricting computer use by using a phone interfaced with an RFID authentication system and a computer are provided to enable a user to authenticate conveniently the use of computer with an RFID card in a home by using the RFID authentication system and a remote controller generating an interrupt signal based on a DTMF(Dual Tone Multi-Frequency) signal received through the phone having a CID(Caller ID) function. A ring signal detector(10) detects a ring signal received through a phone line(11) connected to the phone interfaced to the computer. A DTMF transceiver(20) transceives a DTMF tone signal connected to the ring signal detector. The RFID card(30) stores data f a computer booting password. An RFID reader(40) outputs the data received from the RFID card. A controller(50) is connected to the DTMF transceiver and the RFID reader, outputs a booting enable signal if the RFID signal is received from the RFID reader or a CID of the authenticator is received. The controller outputs a disable signal to peripherals(60) through a USB(Universal Serial Bus) interface(80) if the DTMF signal for restricting the computer use is received in a booted state of the computer and the CID of the authenticator is checked.
