摘要 The present invention relates to computation method and appratus of consequent operation for controlling various instruments and machines according to fuzzy theory. The inventive computation method is characterized by the steps of representing membership functions of a fuzzy group of a consequent part in the form of triangles, calculating a moment in the form of a product of a triangle barycenter position cooridinate value on a horizontal axis and a corresponding triangle bottom edge length, further calculating products of each grade obtained by antecedent operation and each corresponding moment and summing up these first products, while calculating second products of each grade and each corresponding triangle bottom edge length and then summing up these second products, and dividing the summed value of the first products by the summed value of the second products to produce an operational output. In turn, the inventive computation apparatus is comprised of a consequent membership function memory unit for memorizing preferably bottom edge length data and barycenter position data of triangles representative of membership functions of a consequent part, a grade memory unit, a numerator calculation unit for calculating products of each grade and each moment and summing up these products to determine a numerator, a denominator calculation unit for calculating products of each grade and each triangle bottom edge length and summing up these products to determine a denominator, a dividing operation unit for dividng a value of the numrator by a value of the denominator, and an output unit for producing an operational output according to the divided results.
