<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical system which can be operated with simple composition and procedure, and also provide its operation management device and its operation management method. <P>SOLUTION: The operation management device is provided with a plurality of history management devices, which are fixed to a plurality of subassemblies, respectively, in stead of a conventional operation management device which manages the operation of a mechanical system. A specific history management device, which is specific one among the plurality of history management devices, is provided with; a measurement sensor which outputs signal data corresponding to a physical quantity; a data-transmitting device which transmits data to other history management devices; and a storage device which stores history data, which are obtained by accumulating the signal data, in a memory.
