<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load drive unit capable of drivingly controlling a motor load by PWM control with high accuracy by inhibiting increases in configuration and cost. <P>SOLUTION: A load drive circuit 12 supplies a motor 2 with load drive voltage based on a PWM signal given from a CPU 10 to drive the motor 2 by PWM control. A pulse detection circuit 13 detects the pulse signal of the motor drive voltage supplied to the motor 2. The CPU 10 calculates a difference between the pulse width of the pulse signal of the motor drive voltage detected in the pulse detection circuit 13 and that of the PWM signal given from the CPU 10 to the load drive circuit 12. The pulse width of the PWM signal given from the CPU 10 to the load drive circuit 12 is corrected based on the difference. The motor 2 is drivingly controlled based on the corrected PWM signal given from the CPU 10 to the load drive circuit 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
