<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly update program data by reflecting user's intention even if the program data to be updated are being reproduced in a communication apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile phone 30 inquires of a user whether program data 50 should be updated immediately or not, if the program data 50 stored in a program data preserving region 36b are being reproduced when the timing for updating the program data 50 has come. If the user instructs that the program data 50 should be updated immediately in response to the inquiry, the mobile phone 30 stops reproduction of the program data 50 and receives a new program data 50. It then updates the program data 50 stored in the program data preserving region 36b. If the user instructs that updating should be delayed instead of immediately updating the program data 50, the mobile phone 30 puts off receiving of a new program data 50 until at least reproduction of the program data 50 finishes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
