<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement system utilizing a mobile terminal, having high security in online shopping, and allowing utilization even if different persons perform commodity selection and price payment. <P>SOLUTION: Between a store server and a user terminal, processing for specifying a user, selecting a commodity, and selecting a settlement method is performed. When credit settlement is selected, the store server transmits, to a settlement server, connection data to the mobile terminal together with data on a user, a commodity and the credit settlement selection. The settlement server starts a settlement application of the mobile terminal on the basis of the connection data. The application acquires the data on the commodity and the credit settlement selection, acquires a credit number stored in an IC card of the mobile terminal, and displays them on a display part of the mobile terminal.
