<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device in which amalgam of a single-base fluorescent lamp can be kept warm without increasing the number of separate parts. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device 1A includes the single-base fluorescent lamp 2 in which both ends of a light-emitting tube 20 are retained by one base 23 and in which amalgam 26 is arranged and installed at one end out of them, a socket 4 to which the base 23 of this single-base fluorescent lamp 2 is connected, a cabinet 3 which is open downward and houses the single-base fluorescent lamp 2 in its opening, and a lighting device 5A which supplies electric power to the single-base fluorescent lamp 2 via the socket 4. A through hole 31a which is communicated with inside and outside of the cabinet 3 and in which the socket 4 is fitted inside is installed at the cabinet 3, and the lighting device 5A is arranged and installed in a state that the through hole 31a is closed outside the cabinet 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
