An apparatus for automatically inspecting a coil wedge of a generator using a supersonic wave is provided to acquire a reliable inspection result and shorten an inspection time by automatically inspecting the coil wedge. An apparatus for automatically inspecting a coil wedge of a generator using a supersonic wave includes a transfer rail(100), a mover(200), a detection unit. The transfer rail is linearly installed along a length direction of a wedge formed on a surface of a rotator of a generator, and provides a transfer path of the mover. The mover is coupled to the transfer rail, and performs linear movement along the transfer rail. The mover transfers a detection unit installed on an upper part along the transfer rail. A detection unit is installed on the mover. The detection unit has a gear unit, an ultrasonic head unit, and a control unit. The gear unit has a first motor which provides a power for the mover to move along the transfer rail linearly. The ultrasonic head unit has a probe which detects a wedge by generating an ultrasonic, and a plurality of connection rails which adjusts a height and a distance of the probe. The control unit transfers the probe along the transfer rail by controlling the gear unit and the ultrasonic head unit. The control unit generates the ultrasonic wave from the probe and performs an inspection of the coil wedge. The control unit displays, stores and determines the inspection results.
